Section 1001.371, Florida Statutes (F.S.), requires that the school board organization meetings be held in November of each year. In an election year, that date shall coincide with the requirements of section 100.041(3)(a), F.S.

(November 2016 will be an election year.)

Suggested Motion:

Move to hold regular meetings of the School Board on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. except for the November meeting which will be held immediately following the November organization meeting as set by Florida Statutes.  The location of School Board meetings shall be at the Teacher Inservice Center at Fleming Island High School, unless otherwise specified.
